Hi! I’m Angelo Sciortino, the founder and CEO of WeStudyAway. In 2019, after several years working in education, I started WSA to help students find the best foreign language schools and programs around the world. My passion is helping students like you discover the perfect international study program tailored to your unique goals and dreams. I believe that studying abroad is a transformative experience, and I’m here to guide you every step of the way.
WeStudyAway came from my passion and experience in education. After earning my Cambridge CELTA Certificate in 2016, I’ve worked in teaching, language coaching, partnership development, and helping students get out of their comfort zones to grow and experience the world. I’ve worked in Italy and England as an agent, university lecturer, and speaker about international education.
In 2019, I decided to study the Japanese language in Japan for six months to experience studying abroad from a student’s perspective. During this time, I worked part-time at my school as a localization specialist and digital marketing consultant. This experience gave me a deeper understanding of learning languages and living abroad, especially in Japan.
Since the beginning, our mission at WeStudyAway has been to guide students in finding their ideal international study programs. We believe that studying abroad is more than just an academic experience—it’s an opportunity to grow personally and culturally. Our personalized approach ensures that each student receives the attention and tailored support they deserve.
