Since 2000, Culturforum has been offering Italian language courses in Palermo, initially starting in Cefalù. Founded by Martina, a German, and Vittoria, a native Sicilian, the school provides an immersive Italian language course in Palermo, blending over two decades of teaching experience with a focus on cultural immersion. The school’s flexible, personalized courses and passionate teachers ensure an enriching and unforgettable learning experience.
Culturforum’s Italian Language Group Course offers an engaging and immersive way to learn Italian in the vibrant heart of Palermo. Designed for students of all levels, this course combines dynamic language lessons in small groups with rich cultural experiences. With a maximum of 8 students per class, you’ll enjoy personalized instruction while exploring the city’s historical sites and local traditions. The course includes optional cultural activities, ensuring you not only learn the language but also live it.
The school is located in a modern building in the city centre, 5 minutes away from the city’s opera house, Teatro Massimo, 10 minutes from the picturesque tourist port, La Cala and opposite a splendid Venetian Gothic-style villa. The villa belonged to the Withtakers, a wealthy family of English entrepreneurs from West Yorkshire. The Withtakers had made a great fortune in Sicily thanks to Marsala, a liqueur wine produced in the city of the same name.
The school is equipped with central heating, all classrooms have air conditioning and are very bright, thanks to large windows.
