Since 2000, Culturforum has been offering Italian language courses in Palermo, initially starting in Cefalù. Founded by Martina, a German, and Vittoria, a native Sicilian, the school provides an immersive Italian language course in Palermo, blending over two decades of teaching experience with a focus on cultural immersion. The school’s flexible, personalized courses and passionate teachers ensure an enriching and unforgettable learning experience.
The school is located in a modern building in the city centre, 5 minutes away from the city’s opera house, Teatro Massimo, 10 minutes from the picturesque tourist port, La Cala and opposite a splendid Venetian Gothic-style villa. The villa belonged to the Withtakers, a wealthy family of English entrepreneurs from West Yorkshire. The Withtakers had made a great fortune in Sicily thanks to Marsala, a liqueur wine produced in the city of the same name.
The school is equipped with central heating, all classrooms have air conditioning and are very bright, thanks to large windows.
